Food: Ploughmans lunch - Assorted meats & cheese, pickled veggies, house mustard, jam, & crostini. This was good! Sticky pig wings - Honey, sesame & soy sticky glazed mini pork shanks. Served with thai ranch and scallions. Wow, were these unique and delicious. Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and the sauce was delicious ! Herbed statler chicken- herbed roasted airline chicken, blueberry honey glaze, lemon rice, & roasted asparagus. This was okay. The chicken and rice lacked flavor. The restaurant was clean and quiet, and the service was great. Will definitely return when i'm in the area!

We walked in and we right away started tasting meads and learning about barrel age and hibiscus etc. Meadless to say it tasted delicious. Every one was very friendly and our waitress was very funny and quick. The food was wonderful and we had a great time sitting outside. Would try again, as a matter of fact my wife went back there the next day for lunch

Don’t ask if I’ll be going back, ask WHEN. I have visited North Conway many years, and while I would love to gate keep this establishment, it’s too good not to share. You find your seat, look at the menu, place your order(this is for our experience with afternoon counter service), then they give you a tent and everything is brought to you. Everything, and I do mean everything, was incredible, from the mead flight selection and flavor, to the ricotta dip(do not skip this!), to the sandwiches. Since I left I’ve been thinking of any excuse to get back there.

Checked out Sap House Meadery NoCo in North Conway, NH for a handful of different meads & a great cocktail. Mead is something I'm still learning about, but I absolutely love most meads I've tried during tastings with friends over the years so I was excited to finally check out a meadery. I'm ignorant about the process & history of mead, but after trying these I'm more of a fan than ever. They do a flight of three here which was perfect for a newbie like myself to try a few before committing to a glass of something. I've wanted to talk about mead on my page for awhile now since it's in the same wheelhouse as beer, liquor & wine, but a whole different animal coming from honey. The original Sap House Meadery location is in Ossipee, NH, but I was staying at the Eastern Slope Inn Resort pretty much nextdoor so I figured I'd check out the North Conway village taproom. Let's get into the four delicious meads I took down during my visit here. The first mead I tried in my flight was the VANILLA BEAN MEAD, it was a hefty 18%ABV & tasted pretty much as advertised with vanilla beans & a sweet honey finish. The second mead in my flight was the THE TREES, a 15.6%ABV, a maple wine mead that was aged in bourbon barrels, it was as good as it sounds. My last mead in my flight was the PEARANOID, made with wildflower honey & aged in gin barrels. I'm not a big gin guy, but it comes through perfectly in mead in my opinion. I then scooped a pour of the awesome SUGAR MAPLE, at 13.8%ABV it was so smooth & drinkable I found myself sipping it way to fast. It was delicious with hints of apples, caramel, toffee & of course, honey. The mixed drink I grabbed was excellent to, it was the TEQUILERA, a smoked rhubarb & fir tip mead mixed with Mi Campo silver tequila, coconut cream & fresh lime. The staff here were super friendly & informative about everything since I'm pretty ignorant about mead I needed someone to help me understand a bit more about it. Kris the bartender was breaking all the options down for us which was great & Steven the bar manager was educating us as well. All the seating options here including tables, hightops & bar seating with a patio area outside. Plenty of stuff to take home for tastings with friends or just to sip slowly yourself. Fun taproom with plenty to check out & look at while you chill. Great spot & made me like mead even more now, can't wait to sip some more soon, cheers! We stopped in for late lunch, I wanted to go somewhere I hadn't been before. The atmosphere is awesome, from the seating setup to the murals painted on the walls, this place is very cozy and welcoming. This was my first time having mead and their flight option was perfect for me, they also serve free samples at the bar. All of the meads were phenomenal, we bought a couple of bottles to take home as well. My meal was incredible, I ordered the beef tacos, the portions were perfect and everything tasted fresh and was cooked to perfection. I'm not a huge French fry lover but the ones here are the best I've had, the way they season them is Overall the meal, the mead, the service, and the atmosphere were all top-tier.

Great pit stop to taste some meads and have some snacks. We got the mead flight, shim (less alcoholic), a duck nachos and sausage plate to share. The sausage was dry but everything else was good. With the mead flight you get $5 off on bottles to go so we got a bottle of sugar maple mead.

Amazingly friendly staff, great atmosphere and delicious mead! You can tell a lot of care and attention was paid to this new location. We ordered a lot of appetizers and a spinach salad. The standouts were the chicken satay, which had a great flavor, the salad, and the corn dip. The duck nachos, piggy wings, and the small cheese plate were fine but did not wow taste wise. Would go again, but some menu items could have a stronger taste profile.
